How to Change Favicon in Joomla 2.5?

An good website alway have own small icon display on the tab of browsers, example you can see in this picture when go on internet, how to change this icon?

Favicon is a small icon display on browses, This favicon have extension is .ico. normaly favicon had dimentions are: 16x16 pixel.

Choose an image that will convert to favicon
Access http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/ then click Browse to your image Click Create Icon in a while you will see FavIcon (16x16) preview, Click Download Favicon to computer.

Open GIMPP.

Step 1: Create a new image in GIMP, normally is logo with dimension are: 16 x 16 pixel

Draw or open your image then scale your image to 16 x 16 pixel fox fix with dimention of new image was create.

Step 2: Export file favico.ico
Choose File > Export to > Select File Type choice Microsoft Windows icon > Export.
With a favicon, make website is look good and promotion for brand of website.
